A free-spirited photographer sought after for the fresh breath of creativity and connection she brings into each image.
Cruising on her Segway with her camera as her lens to view the world, Meghan captures each ounce of light and love that cross her path. You may find her traveling the country in her aqua van, meditating by the ocean, or reading a book.
Meghan believes in the power of love and connection, and knows that images are a beautiful reflection of your own radiant soul. Time with Meghan will leave you feeling like you've spent time in the glow of the sun as it sets. Her work and hunger for nature and adventure take her all over the country — she is available for travel.
My story
In 1998, I bought my first digital camera from Best Buy.
It was a clunky $350 cinder-block-of-a-camera, and I lugged all 5.4 megapixels of it everywhere I went — family trips, festive gatherings, sporting events. It was an extension of my teenage self that let me connect with people and revel in the surroundings that came and went in my daily life.
While using my camera to share intimate moments and connect with people, it became clear that making authentic and revealing photographs is necessary for me to highlight the beauty I see in the world around me.
Strength, honesty, tenderness
What it means to make honest pictures.
Strength, energy, and honesty have become something of a currency to me since being diagnosed with a destructive and rare connective-tissue syndrome called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which can leave me feeling lifeless and in unforgiving pain on some days.
The limitations this diagnosis imposes have actually helped me grow and open many doors — creatively and personally. It has forced me to find courage and love in moments of uncertainty. To be brave and confident throughout vulnerable days.
How I work
Closeness is sacred.
Holding hands, a family cuddle, the laughter of children, embracing, shedding tears, family secrets, and life's sorrows — all of it should be felt with a wide-open heart.
Each project I work on is unique, because you are. Comfort, closeness, experimentation, and effortlessness are the key focus points in my work. I have a superpower of walking into a space and seeing you for who you truly are, making you feel safe and radiant. Unobtrusively, I float between moments to capture honest expressions that make your love unique — moments that otherwise would go unseen.
