When Amy first called me to ask me about shooting her wedding I was ecstatic. I love opportunities to walk beside old (high school!) friends on their wedding day. And since I had heard about how awesome Justin was and how great they were together I knew it was a wedding I didn’t want to miss.

Amy and Justin got married in Birmingham, Alabama at Avondale Brewery.. one of the coolest venues I had yet to shoot! The weather was chilly, but perfect for a fall wedding, and the reception was a blast thanks to 90’s cover band Blackberry Jam. They served rustic pizza from Post Office Pies , and had Avondale’s high gravity beers on tap. Her dress was designed by a local Birmingham designer who was also featured on project Runway, Heidi Elnora. (and the dress was a-mazing!).. and she even gave her bridesmaids presents from the amazing company Better Life Bags. I hope you love looking through these photos as much as I loved taking them.
